Pottery Day at Earthen Studio

Organiser: Karachi homeschoolers in collaboration with Earthen Studio
The trainers were friendly with kids, knew what they needed: guidance or no interference. The children also got a chance to work at the pottery wheel. The production processes of basic necessities of life (food - including pots n pans, clothing & footwear and shelter) is something children from a young age should know (how they are made, what materials are used and who makes them). This workshop gave the children a glimpse into the ageless tradition earthen-ware. Exposure to such professions also helps instill in children the respect for all noble and halaal professions.
